Life Coach in Toronto Helping Professionals Find Calm, Clarity, and Self-Trust
I’m Ashish Singh, founder of The Calm Mind, an award-winning life coaching and mindfulness coaching practice based in Toronto and serving clients across Canada and globally.
I work with professionals who look composed on the outside, but feel mentally overloaded on the inside.
People who are achieving, delivering, supporting others, and holding life together — while quietly carrying stress, anxiety, overthinking, burnout, or a heaviness they cannot always explain.
My work helps you slow the inner noise, understand what is really weighing on you, and move forward with more clarity, steadiness, and trust in yourself.
30 minutes. No pressure. No pitch.
A grounded conversation to understand where you are, what you may be carrying, and whether coaching is the right next step.
A little about me
I did not come to this work only through training.
I came to it through life.
I know what it means to keep moving while something inside you is asking to be heard. I know what stress, fear, anxiety, and burnout can do — how they can affect the way you think, sleep, work, decide, relate, and see yourself.
There are seasons when life may still look manageable from the outside, but inside, something feels heavy. And there are seasons when something has already broken open — a burnout, a difficult transition, a loss of confidence, or a moment when the old way of coping no longer works.
I understand that place — not as a theory, but as a human experience. I have had to rebuild from seasons that felt heavy, uncertain, and difficult to explain from the outside.
That search for a steadier way to live led me deeper into meditation, breathwork, self-reflection, emotional resilience, and spiritual practice.
Over time, these became more than tools.
They became anchors.
The Calm Mind grew from that journey — not from the belief that life becomes perfect, but from the understanding that we can learn to meet life differently.
With more steadiness.
More honesty.
More distance from the noise.
And more connection to ourselves.
What I bring to the work
The Calm Mind was not built after I stepped away from pressure.
It was built alongside it.
For many years, I was growing this work while also working in senior marketing leadership across global brands in travel, hospitality, CPG, and food and beverage. With an MBA and 18 years of corporate experience, I understand the world many of my clients are navigating — deadlines, change, uncertainty, leadership demands, performance expectations, and the quiet cost of carrying too much for too long.
That experience shapes how I coach.
My approach is calm, reflective, and practical. It brings together mindfulness, breathwork, emotional resilience, self-inquiry, and grounded action.
Not abstract calm.
Real-life calm.
The kind you can return to before a difficult conversation.
During a demanding workday.
When your mind starts spinning.
When you are standing at the edge of a decision.
When life looks full, but something inside you feels far away.
How coaching with me feels
Coaching with The Calm Mind is a space to slow down without getting stuck.
We look at what is happening beneath the surface — the pressure, patterns, fears, expectations, and emotional habits that may be shaping how you think, feel, decide, and respond.
But awareness is only the beginning.
Together, we turn that awareness into practical shifts: calmer responses, clearer decisions, steadier conversations, stronger boundaries, and a deeper trust in yourself.
You are not rushed into answers.
You are not handed generic advice.
You are guided back to your own clarity — with structure, honesty, and care.
This may be for you if
Your mind feels constantly switched on.
You are tired in a way sleep does not fully fix.
You overthink decisions, conversations, or what others may think.
You are functioning, but not feeling fully like yourself.
You are moving through a life or career transition.
You are carrying stress, anxiety, or emotional heaviness quietly.
You want to feel calmer and clearer without pretending everything is fine.
You are ready to stop circling the same patterns and begin relating to yourself differently.
If this feels familiar, coaching can offer a place to pause, understand what is happening, and begin again with more steadiness.
My approach
The approach I use is rooted in what I call the Medit-Action Method™.
The idea is simple:
Awareness matters.
Action matters.
But real change happens when the two begin working together.
In our sessions, this may include reflective coaching, mindfulness, breathwork, emotional resilience practices, and practical action steps designed around your real life.
The goal is not to feel calm only during a session.
The goal is to build a steadier relationship with your mind, your choices, your emotions, and the way you meet pressure.
Recognition and credibility
I am the founder of The Calm Mind, a Consumer Choice Award recipient for Life Coaching in Toronto, and author of The Northern Light Within: Bloom in Winter — Shine in Every Season, winner of the Literary Titan Gold Award.
I have also been recognized among the top life coaches in Toronto and am Yale-certified in The Science of Well-Being.
Before this work, I spent nearly two decades in corporate leadership, which gives me a deep understanding of the pressure many professionals carry but rarely name.
Credentials matter.
But what matters more is whether you feel seen, understood, and supported in a way that helps you move forward.
That is what I aim to create through The Calm Mind.
Begin with a free clarity call
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
You only need to know that something feels heavy, unclear, or ready to shift.
A free clarity call is a simple first step. We will talk about where you are, what you are experiencing, and whether coaching is the right support for this season of your life.
No pressure. No pitch. Just a grounded conversation to help you begin.
For organizations
I also work with organizations through The Calm Advantage™, a corporate program designed for leaders and teams operating under sustained pressure.
The work helps teams build emotional regulation, clearer decision-making, steadier communication, and resilience in high-demand environments.
